Starting with version 1.1, the app sends anonymous usage statistics to TelemetryDeck as described in the “Advertising and analytics” section below. Earlier versions did not include any analytics.

Privacy policy

No account, no advertising SDKs, no personal profiles. Muslim One stores your preferences on your device. Prayer times and maps use online services, and the app sends anonymous, aggregate usage statistics. This policy explains what stays on your device and what is sent when you use those features.
Version 1.0, build 4 and later
The mosque directory has been removed starting with build 4. These builds do not make mosque searches or requests to Supabase. All references below to the mosque directory, its filters, and Supabase apply only to earlier builds. We retain those disclosures for people still using an earlier build. Prayer-time and Apple Maps requests continue as described below.
About this policy
Muslim One is provided by Codewiser Studio. This policy covers the iOS app and privacy questions or support requests you send to us. The app provides prayer times, local reminders, and a qibla compass and map. It does not require registration or offer public posts, messaging or payments.
The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or religious affiliation. Using a religious app or selecting a mosque filter does not create a personal profile in our app database.
Location and qibla
With your permission, the app uses iOS Core Location to obtain your device location and compass heading for the qibla direction and distance to the Kaaba. These calculations run on your device. The app does not save a history of GPS coordinates or send them to the prayer-time API or our Supabase mosque database.
The qibla map uses Apple Maps through MapKit. Displaying the map connects to Apple and involves map-area and technical request information; location-related information may also be processed by Apple when location features are used. Apple handles its services under its own privacy terms. The statement that qibla calculations run locally does not mean that the map works without transmitting data.
Location access is requested while using the app, not as an always-on background permission. You can change or revoke it in iOS Settings. Without permission, the location-based qibla features are unavailable; you can still select a place manually for prayer times and the mosque directory.
Preferences and offline storage
The app stores your selected country, city and district, language, appearance, onboarding completion, reminder preferences and downloaded prayer times in its local storage. These settings are not synced to a Muslim One account. Downloaded prayer times support offline viewing for the dates available in the cache.
Your selected place is also used in service requests as described below. Local storage does not mean that the place selection is never transmitted. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple backup settings.
Prayer-time and mosque services
Prayer times: the app contacts ezanvakti.emushaf.net to retrieve country, city and district lists and prayer times. Requests include the relevant country, city or district identifier. They do not include your device’s GPS coordinates.
Mosque directory: the app sends requests to a Codewiser-managed database hosted by Supabase. Depending on the search, requests include the selected city and district names, the mosque-name search text and selected facility filters. These values are used to find matching mosque records. The current app reads this directory without creating a user account or writing a personal search-history record to the application tables.
The prayer-time and mosque requests do not include an account identifier or an advertising identifier added by the app. The services and their hosting infrastructure receive your IP address and ordinary connection information when handling requests. Request URLs can contain the place, search or filter values described above. Technical access, security and error logs may retain request information under the provider’s configuration and retention rules; these requests are not guaranteed to be anonymous or immediately erased.
Supabase hosts the mosque service; ezanvakti.emushaf.net operates the prayer-time endpoint. Apple supplies the map service. These providers may process requests outside your country. Their infrastructure and service privacy practices also apply to that processing.
Notifications
Prayer reminders use iOS local notifications and are scheduled on your device. The app does not register a remote push-notification token with our server. You can disable reminders in the app or change notification permission in iOS Settings.
Advertising and analytics
The app does not integrate advertising networks or cross-app tracking technology, and does not access the advertising identifier. We do not sell app user data or use prayer selections to target advertisements.
Starting with version 1.1, the app sends anonymous usage statistics to TelemetryDeck (telemetrydeck.com), a privacy-focused analytics service, so that we can understand which features are used. Each signal records an event name (for example that the prayer-times screen was opened or the qibla tab was used), the city you selected for prayer times, and changes to language, appearance or reminder preferences. Signals also carry general technical context such as app version, iOS version and device model.
These signals do not include your name, email address, GPS coordinates, advertising identifier or any account identifier. The app assigns a random identifier per installation that is hashed before transmission and cannot be linked back to you; it is removed when you delete the app. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses and applies differential privacy on its servers, so individual behaviour cannot be reconstructed from the stored data. We see aggregate counts only.
In the App Store privacy label this is declared as Usage Data (Product Interaction), used for analytics, not linked to your identity and not used for tracking.
Support and external links
If you email hello@codewiser.app, we receive your email address and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this correspondence to respond to your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Support messages are handled through email, not an account or support form inside Muslim One.
Opening this policy or another external page uses your browser and connects to that website. Website hosting and email providers process the connection or message information needed to provide those services.
Storage, retention and deletion
Local app data remains until you change the relevant preferences or delete the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading it may keep that data. Backups are managed separately through your device and Apple account settings.
The app does not maintain a user account, a GPS history or a personal prayer-history database. This does not exclude service logs or correspondence you send us. Provider log retention depends on the service and configuration. Deleting the app does not delete provider logs or email correspondence.
We keep support correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold about you. We will assess the request, including any legal retention requirements, and explain any limits; we cannot erase another provider’s independently controlled records through an app uninstall.
Your choices and children
You can change the selected place and preferences in the app, revoke location or notification permissions in iOS Settings, and delete local app data by deleting the app. You may have additional rights under the laws that apply to you, including the right to raise a concern with a data-protection authority. Contact us with privacy questions or requests.
The app does not ask for age or create child profiles. The same device storage and service requests apply regardless of age. If a child sends personal information to our support address, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion.
Changes
We will update this page and its revision date when our privacy practices change. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before introducing a new use of personal information.

Konum ve kıble
İzninizle, kıble yönünü ve Kâbe’ye uzaklığınızı belirlemek için iOS Core Location aracılığıyla cihaz konumu ve pusula yönü kullanılır. Bu hesaplamalar cihazınızda yapılır. Uygulama GPS koordinatlarının geçmişini saklamaz ve bu koordinatları namaz vakti API’sine veya Supabase üzerindeki cami veri tabanımıza göndermez.
Kıble haritası, MapKit aracılığıyla Apple Maps kullanır. Haritanın gösterilmesi Apple’a bağlantı kurulmasını ve harita alanı ile teknik istek bilgilerinin işlenmesini gerektirir; konum özellikleri kullanıldığında konumla ilgili bilgiler de Apple tarafından işlenebilir. Apple kendi servislerini kendi gizlilik koşulları kapsamında sunar. Kıble hesabının cihazda yapılması, haritanın veri iletmeden çalıştığı anlamına gelmez.
Konum izni uygulamayı kullanırken istenir; sürekli arka plan konum izni istenmez. İzni iOS Ayarlar’dan değiştirebilir veya kaldırabilirsiniz. İzin olmadan konuma dayalı kıble özellikleri kullanılamaz; namaz vakitleri ve cami rehberi için elle yer seçmeye devam edebilirsiniz.
Tercihler ve çevrimdışı saklama
Uygulama seçtiğiniz ülke, şehir ve ilçeyi, dil ve görünüm tercihinizi, tanıtımı tamamlama durumunuzu, hatırlatma tercihlerinizi ve indirilen namaz vakitlerini yerel depolamada tutar. Bu ayarlar bir Muslim One hesabıyla eşitlenmez. İndirilen vakitler, önbellekteki tarihler için çevrimdışı görüntüleme sağlar.
Seçtiğiniz yer, aşağıda açıklanan servis isteklerinde de kullanılır. Yerel saklama, yer seçiminin hiçbir zaman iletilmediği anlamına gelmez. Apple yedekleme ayarlarınıza bağlı olarak cihaz yedekleri uygulama verilerini içerebilir.
Namaz vakti ve cami servisleri
Namaz vakitleri: uygulama ülke, şehir ve ilçe listeleri ile namaz vakitlerini almak için ezanvakti.emushaf.net adresine bağlanır. İsteklerde ilgili ülke, şehir veya ilçe kimliği bulunur. Cihazınızın GPS koordinatları gönderilmez.
Cami rehberi: uygulama, Supabase üzerinde barındırılan ve Codewiser tarafından yönetilen veri tabanına istek gönderir. Aramaya göre seçilen şehir ve ilçe adları, cami adı arama metni ve seçilen olanak filtreleri gönderilir. Bu değerler eşleşen cami kayıtlarını bulmak için kullanılır. Mevcut uygulama, kullanıcı hesabı oluşturmadan ve uygulama tablolarına kişisel arama geçmişi kaydı yazmadan bu rehberi okur.
Namaz vakti ve cami isteklerine uygulama tarafından hesap kimliği veya reklam kimliği eklenmez. Servisler ve barındırma altyapıları, istekleri işlerken IP adresinizi ve olağan bağlantı bilgilerini alır. İstek adresleri yukarıda açıklanan yer, arama veya filtre değerlerini içerebilir. Teknik erişim, güvenlik ve hata logları, sağlayıcının yapılandırması ve saklama kuralları çerçevesinde istek bilgilerini tutabilir; bu isteklerin anonim olduğu veya hemen silindiği garanti edilmez.
Cami servisini Supabase barındırır; namaz vakti uç noktası ezanvakti.emushaf.net tarafından işletilir. Harita servisini Apple sağlar. Bu sağlayıcılar istekleri ülkeniz dışında işleyebilir. Bu işlemede sağlayıcıların altyapı ve servis gizlilik uygulamaları da geçerlidir.
Bildirimler
Namaz vakti hatırlatmaları iOS yerel bildirimlerini kullanır ve cihazınızda planlanır. Uygulama sunucumuza uzaktan bildirim belirteci kaydetmez. Hatırlatmaları uygulama içinden kapatabilir veya bildirim iznini iOS Ayarlar’dan değiştirebilirsiniz.
Reklam ve analiz
Uygulama reklam ağı veya uygulamalar arası izleme teknolojisi içermez ve reklam kimliğine erişmez. Uygulama kullanıcı verilerini satmayız; namaz tercihlerini reklam hedeflemek için kullanmayız.
Sürüm 1.1 itibarıyla uygulama, hangi özelliklerin kullanıldığını anlamamız için gizlilik odaklı bir analiz servisi olan TelemetryDeck’e (telemetrydeck.com) kimliksiz kullanım istatistiği gönderir. Her sinyal bir olay adı (örneğin vakitler ekranının açıldığı veya kıble sekmesinin kullanıldığı), namaz vakti için seçtiğiniz şehir ve dil, görünüm ya da hatırlatma tercihlerindeki değişiklikleri içerir. Sinyaller ayrıca uygulama sürümü, iOS sürümü ve cihaz modeli gibi genel teknik bilgileri taşır.
Bu sinyaller adınızı, e-posta adresinizi, GPS koordinatlarınızı, reklam kimliğinizi veya herhangi bir hesap kimliğini içermez. Uygulama her kuruluma rastgele bir kimlik atar; bu kimlik gönderilmeden önce hash’lenir, sizinle ilişkilendirilemez ve uygulamayı sildiğinizde kaldırılır. TelemetryDeck IP adreslerini saklamaz ve sunucularında farklı gizlilik (differential privacy) uygular; bu nedenle saklanan verilerden bireysel davranış çıkarılamaz. Biz yalnızca toplam sayıları görürüz.
App Store gizlilik etiketinde bu, Kullanım Verisi (Ürün Etkileşimi) olarak beyan edilir: analiz amaçlı, kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilmeyen ve izleme için kullanılmayan veri.

Saklama süreleri ve silme
Yerel uygulama verileri, ilgili tercihleri değiştirene veya uygulamayı silene kadar saklanır. Uygulamayı silmek yerel verilerini kaldırır; uygulamayı yalnızca kaldırarak yer açmak (offload) bu verileri koruyabilir. Yedekler, cihaz ve Apple hesabı ayarlarından ayrıca yönetilir.
Uygulama bir kullanıcı hesabı, GPS geçmişi veya kişisel namaz geçmişi veri tabanı tutmaz. Bu durum, servis loglarını veya bize gönderdiğiniz yazışmaları kapsamaz. Sağlayıcı loglarının saklama süresi servise ve yapılandırmaya bağlıdır. Uygulamayı silmek sağlayıcı loglarını veya e-posta yazışmalarını silmez.
Destek yazışmalarını yalnızca talebi ele almak ve geçerli yasal yükümlülükleri karşılamak için gereken süre boyunca saklarız. Elimizdeki bilgileriniz için erişim, düzeltme veya silme talebinde bulunabilirsiniz. Talebi yasal saklama gereklilikleriyle birlikte değerlendirir ve varsa sınırları açıklarız; başka bir sağlayıcının bağımsız olarak yönettiği kayıtlar uygulamanın silinmesiyle tarafımızdan silinemez.
Tercihleriniz ve çocuklar
Seçtiğiniz yeri ve tercihleri uygulamadan değiştirebilir, konum ve bildirim izinlerini iOS Ayarlar’dan kaldırabilir ve uygulamayı silerek yerel verileri kaldırabilirsiniz.
